To pick up your packet on Friday, please use the 10 Mile Lot off of 10 Mile Circle. If you are staying overnight at Copper Mountain Resort, you will be given a parking pass when you check-in for access to the underground parking structure. Parking is limited this year due to construction.
For those only coming for the day, there will be plenty of parking in the ski area parking lots, which are a short ride from the start line at Eagles Landing Plaza. Download the map.

Route details / GPX file
Be ready for a spectacular 79-mile loop that crests three Colorado mountain passes – Fremont Pass (11,318’), Tennessee Pass (10,424’) and Vail Pass (10,666’). Total elevation gain is 6,500'.
The frontage road through Vail is under construction. Please use caution, control your speed and obey all traffic signs.
Credentials
Your packet will also include a bib number for your jersey with safety pins. The bib number can be worn on the front or the back of your jersey, wherever it is the most comfortable. The bib number has two bands at the top. One goes on your wrist and acts as your lunch ticket and the other goes on your bike for identification. The side of the bib has your helmet number and raffle ticket. Please wear your helmet number for photo identification and be sure to put your raffle ticket in the red bucket on the stage to be eligible to win prizes.
Great support for you
We have five aid stations out on course, each one stocked with Skratch, water, fresh fruit, salty snacks, and sweet snacks. Enjoy!
Open roads - ride safe!
Copper Triangle is held on open roads with vehicular traffic and marked and unmarked hazards. Though we go to great lengths to make the event as safe as possible, you are only as safe as you ride. Please ride carefully when descending Fremont Pass, Tennessee Pass, Battle Mountain and Vail Pass. There are steep descents, tight curves and the road conditions vary from good to poor. We advise you to use caution and control your speed.
Please also be mindful of the environment and wildlife. If you encounter any wildlife on course, please keep your distance. For more info on encounters click here.
Sag support
SAGs will drive the course to help riders. Please be prepared to handle your own flats. If you feel unable to climb Vail Pass, please stop at the parking lot at the East Vail exit for a lift back to the start. Private SAG vehicles are not allowed.
Packing suggestions
Bring a number of layers for all weather including rain, then decide in the morning what to wear and carry. Cool mornings usually become warm afternoons with a chance of showers. We recommend our handlebar bag for on-bike storage.
Fun stuff all weekend
A post-ride lunch is included with your registration. Enjoy live music and the cool Alpine air while eating, perusing the bike expo and partaking in tasty libations courtesy of Odell Brewing Company.
Lodging check-in
If you booked overnight accommodations at the resort, you may check in anytime after 3 p.m. on Friday, August 6. Check-in is at the Athletic Club / Spa at 509 Copper Rd. Frisco.
